Every so often I am struck with wonder. I will encounter a sight, smell, sound, taste or texture that floods me, at least for a moment or two, with awe. This is often followed by all sorts of bits and pieces of ideas which may or may not be used in my writing. These moments fuel my creativity.
When this happens I want to share it with you.
And it happens a lot at this time of year. The sight of brilliant autumn leaves makes me absolutely joyful. It is just beginning of the season, but the sight of the brightly colored leaves inspired a haiku. Here goes:
Chlorophyll, be gone!
Now a magnificent fall
Yellow, red, brown, gold.
Question: Can you share an autumn leaf haiku with us?
